WoodShow started its journey in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates in 2005 and since then Wood Show Dubai has established itself as the only dedicated and unique platform for the wood and woodworking machinery industry in the Middle East and North Africa region.
In 2011, Cairo WoodShow was launched and has rapidly evolved into a solid platform for North Africa and the Middle East region.


In 2018, the Global WoodShow continued to expand and reached West Africa to initiate the Gabon WoodShow in partnership with the Gabon Special Economic Zone, a business entity of Olam International and the Gabonese government.
Continuing with its expansion story in 2020, WoodShow is now being organized in Indonesia (Indonesia WoodShow) as well, with official support from the Ministry of Trade, Ministry of Industry and other reputed industry associations in the Republic of Indonesia.
Today, the four shows of the WoodShow series (Dubai Wood, Cairo Woodshow, Gabon, and Indonesia) are catering to more than 600 exhibitors and brands of wood, woodworking machinery and forestry industry every year and welcome more than 30,000 quality visitors from more than 100 countries around the world. WoodShow, overall, aims to contribute significantly to the growth of the global wood and forestry industry through the Global Woodshow’s four platforms and aspires to help exhibitors and visitors alike to work together and discuss the possible synergies that will increase the scope of their business.
