Built in 1992, Mercer Timber Products is one of the largest sawmills in Germany. Located in Saalburg-Ebersdorf in the border triangle of Bavaria, Saxony, and Thuringia. With the acquisition of the sawmill by Mercer International Inc. in April 2017, Mercer Timber Products GmbH was established.
Mercer Timber Products manufactures a wide range of high-quality softwood lumber products. We use local raw materials in a sustainable and exemplary manner. As a result, we efficiently and economically serve the diverse needs of our customers around the world. We produce sawn timber of the highest quality and use only wood from sustainably managed forests. In this way, we preserve our natural resources and promote a healthy environment.
