Akdeniz Orman Istanbul was established as a lumber supplier for domestic market in Kasimpasa, Istanbul in 1905. Company started to grow and develop operationally in order to meet diversified needs in wood business. In 1986, company established new sawmill in a closed area of 4500 m² in Pendik, Istanbul and started production from African hardwood. In 2006, company expanded its operations within the establishment of 2nd sawmill in 6000 m² area which is equipped with latest technology machines in lumber production in Tuzla, Istanbul.
